NertZ believes that ENCE could have won at least two more tournaments with the previous squad

After ENCE lost most of their roster, former rifler Guy "NertZ" Iluz gave an interview in which he expressed his belief in the team's previous lineup. However, things didn't work out, and now NertZ himself plays for Team Heroic.

According to NertZ, when he learned about the departure of Snappi and Saw, everything collapsed. Currently, ENCE's roster is fully complete, with the organization signing three Polish players.

The end of 2023 turned out to be sad for the ENCE team. At one point, the team lost four players and the coach all at once.

  • Guy "NertZ" Iluz → Heroic
  • Pavel "maden" Bošković → Team Falcons
  • Álvaro "SunPayus" García → Team Falcons
  • Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer → Team Falcons
  • Itu "Saw" Saha → Heroic

Although at that time they were clearly at the top.

Here's how NertZ remembers that time:

"ENCE could have won at least two more tournaments if we had stayed together. But the moment I learned about the departure of Snappi and Saw, everything fell apart. We were serious competition for the time we spent together. We had no superstars, but for me, our success was conditioned by the friendship and respect we had for each other. Literally, everyone sacrificed themselves when it was necessary, and that's why we played so well. I believe we could have achieved even more success, but everyone just gave up."

The next time we'll see NertZ on the big stage will be at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024 starting on January 22, 2024.
