Without s1mple, but with ZywOo and NiKo – who made it into the top-5 best players of BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 managed to truly please CS:GO fans longing for the summer, at least with the new lineups of most of the participating teams. But who was able to perform the best throughout the tournament? Here is our top-5 of the best players of the first tournament after the summer break.

Twistzz – Rating of 6.8

Canadian Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken opens the top five players as a member of one of the three teams that made it to BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2023 in first place, even though the team lost its coach right before the tournament. This did not prevent the team from pulling together and showing a decent performance, with Twistzz demonstrating one of the best headshot ratios.

NiKo – Rating of 6.8

Nikola "NiKo" Kovac is the only player on the list who failed to make it to the Fall Finals. To his credit, G2 was extremely close to qualifying for this championship, and the Bosnian became a major threat to NAVI in the slot match. However, unfortunately, the team will have to fight for a ticket to Copenhagen at the Showdown, as the "yellow-blacks" edged out a 2-0 victory with a score of 16:14 on both maps.

blameF – Rating of 6.9

Astralis player Benjamin "blameF" Bremer became the new captain of the lineup at the end of June after the departure of Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander. The new role did not prevent the esports player from scoring as vigorously as in the past. Nevertheless, it should be admitted that the team looked shaky at the tournament, immediately falling into Play-In.

stavn – Rating of 7.0

Like FaZe Clan, Heroic did not change their roster in any way during the summer off-season, eventually winning their group. The only problematic match for the Danish club was the rematch attempt from the new NAVI in the group final. It was here that stavn saved his team from failure, becoming the MVP, as in two other group matches.

ZywOo – Rating of 7.1

Neither the player change in Vitality nor the defeat from NIP in the group final became an obstacle for Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut to become the best player of the event. The Frenchman did not allow any doubts about himself and, as always, had an excellent tournament in terms of individual performance. We expect no less from him at IEM Cologne 2023.

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 took place from July 13 to July 23. The teams competed for a prize pool of $177.5K and six slots for BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023. The tournament's statistics and results are available on the event page.
