OverDrive and Monte's DemQQ traded insults - all because of shooting the corpse during the official match

Content maker Alexey OverDrive Biryukov and Monte player Sergey DemQQ Demchenko had a verbal skirmish with raised voices due to bad manners during an official meeting.

The incident occurred during Monte's match against Spirit Academy, which took place during the open qualifiers at IEM Brazil. OverDrive was streaming the match on their channel at the time.

At the end of the 26th round, with a score of 14:11 in favor of Monte, after winning the post-plant situation, DemQQ decided to mock the opponent a little and shot at the corpse, interrupting the defuse.

Separately, OverDrive added that the native country of the player does not matter to him and that he would not allow himself such statements about Woro2k or sdy, and that in Russia there are, on the contrary, those whom he could call “toxic dickheads”.

Later, according to commentator Konstantin Leniniw Sivko, OverDrive admitted that he “overdid it with statements.”

DemQQ followed up on Twitter with a response to the insults in a similar manner.

Both turned out to be wrong: OverDrive, who reacted too rudely to an ordinary case of shooting at corpses, and DemQQ, who took OverDrive’s reaction too personally. As a result, both sides behaved unprofessionally outside the server, and the whole situation looked like a kid conflict on the playground, negatively affecting the reputation.
