PGL Americas RMR Day 4: 3 teams left

The fourth day of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Americas RMR has come to a close, and only three teams are left at the event.

Firstly, the spot in the Legends stage has been distributed. FURIA faced MIBR and didn’t hesitate to win the match 2-0 with the domination on both maps. MIBR go to the Challengers stage.

The other six teams fought for the opportunity to get the spot in the tiebreaker. 9z faced Sao Caetano. Sao Caetano were trying to resist, but there was no chance to stop 9z, and the standoff ended 2-0. Sao Caetano have been eliminated with 2-3 on their record

In the third standoff of the day, paiN faced Case, and the game looked pretty similar to the second match. PaiN had difficulties on the first map but finished it 16-14 and destroyed Case, and the clash ended 2-0. Case left the event.

The last match of the day was the most competitive. Evil Geniuses encountered Party Astronauts. The first two maps were close, but the deciding game ended swiftly. Evil Geniuses seized the early advantage and, despite the resistance from PA, finished the last map of the standoff 16-9.

There are three teams left at the event. Evil Geniuses, paiN, and 9z will fight for the last spot at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
