In his latest interview, Natus Vincere sniper Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev shared his opinion on the progress of the team's updated roster.

s1mple:

Now everyone sees that the new Natus Vincere roster can already be in the top-10 in the world
I am very proud of every player in my team. We trained a lot, we didn't even have weekends off. Having changed three players, we understood that it would take a lot of time to play together.

Is there anything to be proud of?

Definitely. The team achieved the necessary results at its very first tournament.

The team's first tournament was BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023, where the team ranked 4-6 and secured a slot at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023!

On their way, the "Born to Win" defeated Astralis 2:0, but lost to Heroic with a score of 0:2.

After that, they easily beat BIG 2:0, and again met Heroic. Unfortunately, they did not manage to win again, and the team lost 1:2.

And in their final match, the team went through G2 and won with a score of 2:0.

And what about the numbers?

If you look at the statistics, s1mple is the only one who made it into the top-10 best players of the tournament with a rating of 6.5.

And the team's newcomer Ivan "iM" Mikhail entered the top-6 best entry players of the tournament.

And of course, the Ukrainian headshot machine Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovsky took the third place in the frequency of headshots. The headshot percentage was a whopping 65.7%!

But if you take the statistics of the entire tournament only for NAVI, you can see that the players' rating did not drop below the psychological mark. This means that the team started its performance in the new season quite briskly and everything is still ahead of them.

s1mple also revealed the key to all future victories of NAVI:

If I stop being toxic — it would be awesome.

BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023 took place from July 13 to 23. Teams competed for a prize pool of $177.5 thousand and six slots at the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023. The statistics and results of the tournament are available on the event page.
