7th place - karrigan - $1,646,752

Finn "karrigan" Andersen, the greatest Danish captain, achieved victory at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 alongside FaZe Clan. Over his career, he won numerous major championships, securing his legacy in CS:GO. Moreover, he continues to play at a high level and is transitioning to CS2 to work wonders.

6th place - s1mple - $1,733,688

Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev, one of the world's best snipers, has been playing for Natus Vincere for over 7 years. During his career, he won a Major only once, which earned him an MVP award. It was the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. Throughout his career, he received more MVP awards than anyone else - 21 medals. He also became the Player of the Year three times in 2022, 2021, and 2018.

5th place gla1ve - $1,869,042

Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander is a legendary captain of the golden Astralis lineup. It was gla1ve who managed to lead his team to victory in four Majors, three of which were consecutive.

But all of this happened back in 2019, and gla1ve's most recent significant victory was at the Intel Extreme Masters XV - Global Challenge in 2020.

Currently, the Danish captain continues to compete with Astralis and is fully preparing his team for CS2.

4th place Magisk - $1,874,123

Emil "Magisk" Reif is a Danish rifler who also played in the golden Astralis lineup. However, he only won three tournaments with them. But after his spark faded within the team, he quickly moved to Team Vitality and won his fourth Major title in his career with them! It's worth noting that Magisk received the MVP award at the IEM Katowice 2019 Major.

3rd place dev1ce - $1,977,531

Nikolaj "dev1ce" Reedtz is the greatest sniper in the history of Danish CS. It was with him that the Astralis lineup won four Majors. He also received two MVP awards at these championships, specifically at FACEIT Major: London 2018 and StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019.

Currently, dev1ce continues to compete for Astralis after a one-year break.

2nd place Xyp9x - $2,001,285

Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth is the best clutch player in the history of CS:GO! Do we need to say anything more? He has won the most clutches on the professional scene, precisely 814.

Currently, Andreas has been placed on the bench at Astralis, but many analysts believe it might be the end of his career since he no longer has the same burning desire for victory as before.

1st place dupreeh - $2,181,164

Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen is the only CS:GO player who has won five Majors. Throughout his history, he managed to win four Majors with Astralis and his last title he secured with Team Vitality.

However, after this victory, dupreeh was benched at Team Vitality and is currently looking for a new team, as he expressed his desire to win another Major in CS2.

As we can see, the top players are those who have managed to win Majors at some point! This tournament has a significant impact on the financial aspect of the players.

Also, it's worth noting that these are just prize winnings, and the exact amount players receive from salaries is not known for sure.

But it's time for us to say goodbye to CS:GO and move on to the exciting new world of CS2, which should bring even more money into our game, allowing players to become even richer. But who will be able to top the new CS2 rankings?
