Players found WallHack in Counter-Strike 2 which can be activated through the console

Professional CS:GO player Eric fl0m Flom was able to enable WallHack in Counter-Strike 2 using a console command during his live stream on Twitch.

One of the viewers suggested the console command to Flom. The pro player stated that Valve is already aware of this issue. According to shooter fans on Reddit, many users have been abusing this feature, which has had a negative impact on the game's testing. Despite this, Valve has not yet fixed this vulnerability.

The command to enable WallHack in CS2 is cl_physics_highlight_active 5.

What about cheaters in Counter-Strike 2?

The problem of cheating in CS2 is more relevant than ever. Despite the fact that there is currently a closed beta test, there are already many users in the game who are using forbidden software. It was previously reported that cheaters have found a way to join CS2 matches even without beta access. You can read more about this in the article.

Cheating developers have stated that Valve is not interested in improving the system for combating users who use forbidden programs. Such players fall into a vicious circle: they buy in-game items and get banned for cheats after 2-3 months. Thus, Valve has a constant income.

Counter-Strike 2 developers claimed that players who have previously received a VAC ban would not be able to participate in the game's closed testing. However, former esports player Hovik KQLY Tovmassian revealed that Valve provided him access to the CS2 beta on an account that was blocked for using cheats.
