Woro2k discussed Monte's goals for 2024

Monte's CS2 captain, Vladimir Woro2k Veletnyuk, shared the team's goals for IEM Katowice 2024 and the entire competitive year as a whole. The Ukrainian esports athlete discussed the team's plans in a post-match interview with the HLTV portal.

According to Woro2k, Monte's main goal at IEM Katowice 2024 is to make it to the playoffs for the sake of the Pole in their lineup—Shimon kRaSnaL Mrozek. He also outlined quite high tasks for the team for the competitive year.

For this tournament we have a minimum goal to go to the playoffs, to be on the stage. It's important for kRaSnaL, it's a home tournament for him. Also, for the whole year we wanna be a tier-one team, we wanna be minimum in the top five. We wanna win everything we can. We will focus on every tournament, doesn't matter.

Veletnyuk noted that he does not like playing one tournament a month and spending the rest of the time training. He would like to participate in all possible competitions.

It's a bit different for me because I kinda don't like this tier-one style where you have like one tournament per month and you're just practicing for it. I like to play a lot of tournaments. But we're also trying to play all tournaments that invite us, to have the same thing as last year. It's a bit difficult for us, but we are here to be in the tier-one scene all the time, and I think we'll do better.
