"EG Leaders Humiliated Their Employees" - Richard Lewis Publishes Mini-Exposé on EG
Today, renowned English commentator and analyst Richard Lewis published a mini-expose on Evil Geniuses. In it, he dug up the whole story and interesting facts, which, according to him, were confirmed.
His main thesis was that the leaders of the North American organization humiliated their employees. They also forced them to do things that were not within their authority.
Especially for our site readers, we've highlighted the most interesting part:
EG refused to issue corporate cards to team managers for purchases for EG:
They expected managers to use their own funds during trips to cover expenses that could exceed $3,000. Some managers even took loans, fearing that if they didn't pay, the players or the team manager would suffer.
And here's that very part about the humiliations of employees by the leaders:
EG leaders humiliated employees in front of other managers for having an insufficiently high credit rating, and for having too little savings to cover these expenses.
Also, Richard Lewis spoke about the situation in the main office of the organization:
One of the former employees called the team office a "prison with snacks," adding that there was no food in the office for about 6 months, and at times no toiletries.
Finally, he touched on the topic of layoffs in EG, and also speculated on when the organization might come to an end:
From the end of 2022 to 2023, the organization conducted a series of layoffs and cutbacks to optimize its expenses. But the organization's owners didn't know that at this time, secretly from them, the CEO was flying business class and booking a hotel room only for himself (for several months), as a result of which the CEO spent 15 times more money than in 2020.
Richard believes that at this rate, the organization will cease to exist in 2024. Many news portals, citing their sources, have already talked about the organization not being around in 2024. But so far, there have been no official statements on this matter. As well as in general, no response to this criticism.
