Wildcard Gaming to Compete in Closed Qualifiers for the American RMR in Place of EG
The lineup of teams for the closed qualifiers for the regional American RMR has changed. The reason is the impending departure of Evil Geniuses from CS2 and the loss of most of the roster's players.
The manager of Wildcard Gaming confirmed to Dust2.us that his team will replace EG in the qualifiers. With the invitation received, the team will bypass the open qualifiers.
The North American closed qualifier for the RMR will take place from January 12 to 14. Out of 16 teams, seven will earn a spot. In addition to Wildcard, teams like Complexity, M80, Nouns, Badass Gaming, BOSS, Party Astronauts, Unjustified Gaming, and the winners of the open qualifiers will also be present.
