hampus and draken qualified for the Swedish LAN CS2 tournament

Hampus 'hampus' Poser from Ninjas in Pyjamas and William 'draken' Sundin from IKLA, both currently benched from their teams, will join the Uruguay3 lineup to participate in the Esportal LuckyCasino Cup. The tournament is set to take place on December 17th in Stockholm with a prize pool of 100,000 Swedish Krona (about $9,550).

The Esportal LuckyCasino Cup will bring together eight teams, four of which received direct invitations and four qualified through open qualifiers. So far, the participation of teams such as Alliance, Lilmix, Metizport, Uruguay3, and angelnumbers is known.

hampus and draken are the most experienced players in the tournament, with reputations as major participants and winners of big tournaments like DreamHack Open Valencia 2017, IEM Oakland 2017, and IEM Fall 2021. Their participation can significantly raise the level of competition at the Esportal LuckyCasino Cup.

Although the Esportal LuckyCasino Cup is not considered a top-tier tournament in the overall CS2 scene, its local significance and the presence of high-class players like hampus and draken make it an important event for the Swedish esports community.
