The Play-In stage for IEM Katowice 2024 in CS2, along with its Pick’Em by Bo3.gg, has concluded. Around 300 participants competed in their knowledge of the competitive scene and fought for valuable prizes. Bo3.gg has summarized the challenge results.
In the Play-In stage, 16 teams competed for eight slots in the group stage of the tournament. This championship stage delighted viewers with spectacular matches and unpredictable results. The quota holders became Eternal Fire, Heroic, Rebels Gaming, Team Spirit, GamerLegion, Cloud9, and ENCE, as well as Apeks.
The majority of challenge participants bet on Cloud9 to advance to the group stage, and the team successfully met those expectations. Team Spirit came in second place, followed by GamerLegion in third. A total of 5416 predictions were made, with 35% correct.
The first place in the challenge was taken by a participant under the nickname uragan. He scored 110 points, for which he will receive a StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Minimal Wear). He managed to make 14 correct picks out of 20.
Second place in the challenge by Bo3.gg was taken by er1ken. He won a StatTrak™ M4A4 | The Battlestar (Minimal Wear). He managed to score 95 points. er1ken made 12 out of 20 correct predictions.
In third place were three participants with nicknames: OkGo, qwertyapex, and noise694. They managed to score 85 points each. The bronze prize winners will receive an AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor (Minimal Wear) each.
