NAVI - FaZe match became the most popular in the group stage of IEM Sydney 2023

According to Esports Charts, the match between Natus Vincere and FaZe became the most popular match in terms of the peak number of viewers at the group stage of the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023.

Esports Charts reports that 263,579 viewers watched the match at the same time. The second most popular match was FaZe vs. Vitality, which gathered 202,263 viewers, and the third was the match between Natus Vincere and MOUZ, with 183,672.

This result brought IEM Sydney 2023 closer to the previous tournaments in this series. IEM Sydney 2018 had the best result with 278,891 viewers for the Astralis and FaZe matches. IEM Sydney 2019 came next with 271,671 viewers for fnatic vs. Liquid. However, it is worth noting that these matches were the finals of previous tournaments, so the record of IEM Sydney 2023 is likely to be beaten.

BetBoom, Complexity, MOUZ, FaZe, ENCE, and G2 reached the playoffs of the tournament. The winner of IEM Sydney 2023 will receive $100,000 and a slot at IEM Katowice 2024.
