RUSH has left Evil Geniuses

Today on his Twitter account, American player of Evil Geniuses Black, William "RUSH" Wierzba announced that he is ready to move forward and is looking for a new organization for himself.

As of today, EG is changing its course and moving me to substitute (6th player) in the main roster.Being an integral part of creating EG Black has been very beneficial. I'm satisfied with how we've climbed the career ladder in NA until we were promoted to the main roster.

CS2 is close, and I am more motivated than ever for it. Working with this young team as an NA veteran has given me a lot of clarity. Clarity in the sense that I really enjoy helping players and people grow and become better versions of themselves. I'm available for the right team and organization as a player, coach, or leader. Have a great Sunday!

What has RUSH achieved in Evil Geniuses Black?

The journey of RUSH and Evil Geniuses began in 2020. But after 5 tournaments played, he moved to the ranks of Evil Geniuses Black. And starting from September 2020, he continued to play for EG Black.

During the entire existence of the team and his time playing in it, RUSH and the team were not able to achieve success on the world stage. However, on the American scene, they appear as a decent middle-tier team. They managed to win only one regional championship:

  • ESEA Cash Cup Circuit 2023: North American Cup #2

And they also took second place in:

  • ESL Challenger League Season 45: North America
  • ESL Challenger League Season 43: North America
  • Mustache Masters 2022

Recall that today it became known that Evil Geniuses disbanded their main roster, and the guys from Evil Geniuses Black took their place. You can read more about this here.
