Evil Geniuses disbands main CS:GO roster and promotes EG Black to the main team

American organization Evil Geniuses has announced the disbandment of its main CS:GO roster, sending four out of five players, excluding the coach, to the bench. At the same time, players from the "junior" roster, EG Black, have been promoted to the main team.

From the previous lineup, only sniper Timothy "autimatic" Ta will continue to compete for Evil Geniuses, while Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, Sanjar "neaLaN" Ishkakov, Jerrik "wiz" Jiang, Ismail "refrezh" Ali, and the coach are now inactive.

Updated Evil Geniuses lineup

  • autimatic
  • Walco
  • Jeorge
  • junior
  • HexT
  • Axed (coach)
  • RUSH (substitute)

It is known that 29-year-old William "RUSH" Wierzba will act as an emergency substitute in the upcoming tournaments.

It should be noted that in the year of its existence, the EG Black roster, in its various variations, earned just over $75,000 in prize money, achieving relatively modest results in their domestic region.

The debut of the new Evil Geniuses lineup is expected to take place at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2023, which will be held from July 13th to 23rd in Copenhagen.
